The Challenge
A manufacturing company engaged us to work with the leadership team of one business unit. Pressure from business environment and lack of a structured performance management process created stress and the need for better alignment and coordination. The goal was to develop into a high-performing team. We facilitated the yearly strategic planning meeting.
Our solution
In preparation for the meeting we administered the Team Report and had a one-hour debriefing session with each of the 6 team members.
We then facilitated a 1 day workshop divided in two parts:
1) The first half called "R&R and Teamwork" served to define roles and responsibility and set an agenda for communication, around the strengths and challenges found in the Team Report.
2) The second half, we provided a framework to facilitate goal setting for the year both at the team and individual level and how to cascade it down to the business unit.

The leadership team left the meeting with a clear actionable plan and we established two check-in points at 1 and 3 months with two 4-hours virtual sessions.
We asked to assess their improvement in work effectiveness and team communication, participants responded with average scores of 8.4 and 8.7 out of 10, respectively.
